Polarius

Polarius began as a weekend project with me as the lone member of the team. The team was later on expanded with Zebastian Lilja and Sebastian Streiffert. Zebastian did the models and animations, while Sebastian created the music. I did all the programming and most of the design work, with some help from Zebastian.

After the first prototype was released the scope of the game increased and it was planned to join as an entry in the Swedish Game Awards (2011). The game was playable from the first prototype and all the way up until the deadline to allow players to try it out and give us live feedback on the current iteration of the game.

Polarius was sent it in time for the deadline and will hopefully be nominated for an award, which will be revealed on monday (16/05).

The game is available at http://finalstage.se/Polarius and can be played in the browser with the help of the Unity Web Player plugin.

What was my role in the project?

I was the sole programmer. I also created the first concept and designed the game. Most of the newer levels were created by me with some help from Zebastian.

The team:
Aleksandar Jankovic (lead, design, programming)
Zebastian Lilja (modelling, animation, design)
Sebastian Streiffert (music)
