			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The time has come, after many hours of researching, writing and screaming. This is what I spent the second half of my days on (the sleep and eating part); a study about narrative choices in games.</p>
<p>We set out to see how players felt about choices they are faced with in games (specifically role-playing video/computer games) and the result is this report on around 60 pages.  I'll let the actual piece speak for itself. Go ahead and take a peek. Lazy people can find the nice diagrams from our survey starting on page 31 8)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Polarius began as a weekend project with me as the lone member of the team. The team was later on expanded with Zebastian Lilja and Sebastian Streiffert. Zebastian did the models and animations, while Sebastian created the music. I did all the programming and most of the design work, with some help from Zebastian.</p>
<p>After the first prototype was released the scope of the game increased and it was planned to join as an entry in the Swedish Game Awards (2011). The game was playable from the first prototype and all the way up until the deadline to allow players to try it out and give us live feedback on the current iteration of the game.</p>
<p>Polarius was sent it in time for the deadline and will hopefully be nominated for an award, which will be revealed on monday (16/05).</p>
<p>The game is available at <a title="Polarius, the game" href="http://finalstage.se/Polarius" target="_blank">http://finalstage.se/Polarius</a> and can be played in the browser with the help of the Unity Web Player plugin.</p>
<p><strong>What was my role in the project?</strong></p>
<p>I was the sole programmer. I also created the first concept and designed the game. Most of the newer levels were created by me with some help from Zebastian.</p>

<p>The assets were created in 3ds Max and Softimage XSI.</p>
<p><strong>What was my role in the project?</strong></p>
<p>I created graphical assets through XSI and the warmth effect over the stove in UDK. I also design the game and level together with other team members. You will find screenshots and an in-game video below.</p>
